CA Foundation Course Eligibility Criteria 2024:
Prior to filling out the form, some eligibility conditions that are fundamental to the application process must be met. Before applying for the CA foundation, the ICAI requires that the following prerequisites as eligibility for registration of CA foundation Course:
- A candidate who has registered for the CA foundation course must have passed a recognized National or State Board Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 level).

Can I give CA exam after Class 10th X?
You are eligible for admission to the CA Foundation course in 2024-23 if you have passed the 10th grade or its equivalent test.CA Foundation eligibility has been changed after amendments, after passing the Class X exams, now a student can provisionally enroll in the ICAl Foundation Course. However, provisional admission to Foundation course will only be Regularized once the candidate clears Class XII exams.
CA Foundation 2024 Provisional Registration:
After passing the Secondary School Examination (Class X), matriculation examinations, In other words, an examination recognized by the Central Government (CG) or the State Government (SG) as comparable to the 10th Class examination for the purpose of admission to Higher Secondary Education or HSC You are eligible for admission in CA Foundation course provisionally it will be regularized only after completing your 12th exams.
CA Foundation 2024 Regular Registration:
After passing your Class XII examination only you are eligible to get registration with ICAI for CA Foundation course as a regular candidate. And you will appear in CA Foundation examination after appearing in Class XII examination.

This CA Foundation course is valid for three years after you have registered. This means that if you fail to pass the CA foundation exam on your first attempt, you can retake the exam up to five times without having to pay the CA registration fee.

CA Foundation New Syllabus 2024
The CA Foundation syllabus currently includes six subjects and four papers. ICAI has discontinued two courses: Business Correspondence & Reporting and Business & Commercial Knowledge.
The CA Foundation exam has been changed under a new scheme of education and training. Passing criteria have also been altered. In the new scheme, students need to get 50% marks in order to pass the CA Foundation exams, and there will be a negative marking of .25 for every wrong answer on MCQs. The new proposed education and training scheme includes changes in both the subjective and objective formats. The subjective format includes markings for .25, while the objective format does not.

CA Foundation Course Validity 2024
The registration at the Foundation level is valid for four years.
The CA Foundation registration is still valid. In the event that a candidate is unable to pass the Foundation Exam within four years of enrollment, he may choose to enter the Intermediate Course directly, provided that certain requirements are met.
